Whole Wheat, Banana And Honey Cake (Eggless)

I had been craving for cake for almost a week and kept putting it off because of all the calories! Also I had only one banana and no eggs in the house so was looking up recipes and I found this gem.

I have scaled down the recipe to half because there was only one banana.

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoon oil
1 over ripe banana
1/2 tea spoon vanilla extract
1/2 tea spoon baking soda

You can add walnuts or almonds to the cake batter as well.

Preheat oven 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.

Sift flour and soda. Mash the banana well so that there are no lumps.

Mix the wet ingredients (milk, honey, oil, vanilla extract) with the mashed banana. Add the flour and baking soda mixture to it.

Grease a pan with oil and dust it with flour. Put the cake batter into it. (Cake batter was very thick, not really pourable.)

Bake for 20 mins. at 180 degree Celsius. ( Baking time in original recipe is 30 – 40 mins. but since the mixture was half it took 20 mins.)

The cake consistency will be moist.
