Five Sentence Fiction – View : The Escape

A bright sunny day and a blazing red car.

Looking for an escape, she drove fast but had to slow down time to time on the hairpin bents.

It was dizzying but not as much as the thoughts spinning inside her head.

Finally she was at the hilltop, the sea sparkling below and the salty cool breeze touching her face.

She took in the blue from the sky and the sea and let herself go, only calmness surrounded her.

P.S. I came across this on Stevie’s Words which led me to check the page that started it Lillie McFerrin Writes.

In her words – What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.

Daily Prompt : Great or Greatness – The Magic Formula

Daily Prompt: Great or Greatest?

What makes a blog great? What makes you follow a blog or “Like” a post?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us GREATNESS.

A post that is heartfelt, draws the reader in. It has to be interesting or funny or may touch the heart. Something the reader can relate to or may find useful. It may have a fresh idea that can cause a change or inspire.

ImageNot too long not to short with some pictures and spaced well. The blog design matters as well. Uncluttered and simple yet colorful and stylish. It should please the eye. Not too many elements fighting for attention.

Regular posts and interaction with the readers.

That’s what makes me like a post or blog.
